Alex Suarez is a Financial Planning Specialist with Pointer Financial Group. He has worked in the financial services industry since 2021 and holds an undergraduate degree in Personal Finance with a Financial Planning Emphasis from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He also earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee in 2025.
Alex grew up working in his family’s general contracting business, where he developed a passion for helping small business owners and a keen understanding of how blue-collar workers often overlook retirement planning, making accessible financial guidance essential for their long-term security.
In addition to his financial planning career, Alex has a strong military background. He is a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army Reserves and has served since 2019. His service includes an overseas mobilization in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve in Eastern Europe. Drawing on his experiences, Alex is committed to helping current, former, and future military-affiliated individuals understand and maximize the unique benefits available to them, including military compensation, healthcare, retirement, and education benefits, while navigating the financial challenges and opportunities they face.
Born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Alex values the work ethic and cultural heritage instilled by his second-generation Mexican-American background. He is bilingual and, outside of work, he enjoys professional boxing, international soccer, and is a dedicated Packers and Brewers tailgater.
